A Place to Call Home

A Place to Call Home is a fine art project that explores the lives of rescue dogs who have endured hardship, while highlighting the safety, comfort, and love found through rehoming.

The work aims to raise awareness of a largely unseen crisis and to remind us that every dog, regardless of their past, deserves the chance of a better life. Through quiet, observational portraiture, the project focuses on dogs who have escaped suffering and found peace in their forever homes. Photographed during moments of rest, each image reflects trust, vulnerability, and the calm that comes with feeling safe.
